St Comgalls Project
The team at Cater2 recently worked on a project with Belfast City Council. This project consisted of designing a kitchen and front of house area for St Comgalls school in Belfast.
This project is designed to promote economic, educational, social and cultural benefits for the people who live and work in the local area. As a £7 million regeneration project, the objective was to restore this Grade B1 listed former school building and create a multi-use community facility.
When awarded the Commercial Catering package for this project, Cater2 undertook the challenge. Our team worked alongside Belfast City Council and PK McKaigue, who was contracted for this project. Together we designed the kitchen and front of house areas including the specified products and bespoke stainless fabrication.
The equipment for this project was supplied by Electrolux Professional. They provided everything from forty grid Combi ovens, four burner gas range, Warewash machines, Hobart pass-through dishwasher and Counterline displays. All equipment provided was top of the range.
This was an exceptional project that was finished to the highest detail. The servery counters were finished with Corian tops and a detailed timber frontage showing a modern and striking look. We thoroughly enjoyed working on this prestigious project and we were very proud to hand it over to the Belfast City Council.
